I would almost call this brilliant if it didn't get so repetitive. He spent a lot of time on the beginning and then slacked off or lost interest editing the rest (though the end isn't bad). He could have recreated the Romanek-style cutaways using other Star Trek footage instead of having every single shot being of Kirk and/or Spock.
