Weapons of Maths Destruction

(this one's nerdy.)

if you can get past the crap title, i think this game's funny, if nothing else for it's odd sense of 'retro'. first-wave enemies require addition and subtraction, second wave is linear and exponential pattern recognition, and the third's polynomials.
Weapons of Maths Destruction
for those needing a quick brush-up on their polynomials:
x² + [A+B]x + [A*B] = 0
(x + A) (x + B) = 0
(A and B are constants.)
so x is zero where either sum is zero; at -A and -B.

(see my note in the comments)

the third wave enemies can only be harmed if you answer the question with the negative of the correct answer. i'm assuming programmer error. i sent the following to CrazyMonkeyGames:

"hi
in 'weapons of maths destruction', the 3rd wave enemies (the green ones that ask polynomial questions) only accept the negative of the correct answer as correct.

e.g.:
x^2 + 3x + 2 = 0
(x + 1)(x + 2) = 0
x = -1 or -2
(because if either sum is zero (the x+1 or the x+2), the whole thing multiplies to zero).

but the game only accepts 1 or 2 as correct.

i realize you probably don't care, but in case you do, you may wanna give whoever coded that a heads-up.

thanks.
